Thanx mate

Now this is the first movie I ever made..back in 2006. This was not an online mission but rather a coop featuring SvAF members (F19 & F16) in a somewhat "directed" way to (semi) reenact a real F19 mission back in 1940 in Northern Finland... F19 attacked a Soviet base outside the small Finnish village of Märkajärvi on the Salla front.

This was a lot more timeconsuming and because of hardware limitations I had to record with fraps at half speed... mute the sound, and add real life sound afterwards... that took quite many man hours.. also I made some small effects in After effect by adding a foreground layer.. you may notice that when viewing through gunsight at certain points in the movie... gunsight is out of focus but target is IN focus... There are other stuff out of focus as well ...a truck for example to give a sense of depth. I had higher ambitions with this movie, but realized that I would never have the time to make it the way I would like to see it..so I pretty much finished it off after the main character's crash

I also animated the intro in the movie with maps and stuff in After effects to give an understanding of the flight from F19 base Oscar east of Kemijärvi.
The man in the intro is Field Marshall Mannerheim thanking Swedish volunteers after the "The peace treaty" a few months later..
