Patch 1.97.7

Hi all,

Just bought MOW:AS and updated it to 1.97.7. Performance is abysmal. Single player skirmish stutters like there´s no tomorrow and FPS is roughly 12.
On 1.81 everything is fine (all game engine limitations considered, of course).
Is it just me, or is anybody else having these problems?

GTX 570
8 Gb RAM

I noticed it was buggy at first, but then it went away... is it still acting up?

It really seems to be like you said...

The single player "transition animations" (like the first mission with Marines landing on the beach) still stutter like hell, but after a while game seems to roll along just fine (18-35 FPS fine, that is). It´s sad that engine still has these serious issues. Game is very entertaining though.

I'm too facing the same issue after installing the latest patch v1.97.7.. Now the game selects integrated graphics over my Nvidia graphics. The integrated graphics makes the game lag especially in multiplayer mode. Whenever i try to play with Nvidia graphics settings i get a blank screen. I am just able to listen to the background music playing. Some one please help... I've tried almost everything..

You might need to re-download the game / delete settings files and have steam download new ones (if you have Steam that is). That usually works, but if not that, you might need to disable your integrated graphics card...
