Default July 19th release... I hope?

If this has already been said, forgive me...
Whoever this concerns...Please do not delay the US release
I don't care how 'imperfect' it may seem to those who own it... Let me be the judge.
I have already made the mistake of ordering the 'electronic download' version through Ubisoft, which does not allow cancellation (always read the small-print... Sigh)
I paid me money and want me goods, whatever that entails

OK... I also promise to not gripe, moan, whinge, whine, scream, beat my fists, slag anyone off, put anyone down, blame everybody under the sun, etc. etc.

I would GREATLY welcome the opportunity to see for myself

Is that such a crime?

I have watched enough cool vids to know I want it... 'issues' and all

It's up to Ubisoft, not 1C, whether or not to release it in its current state. If Ubi doesn't mind the bad PR in the US, they'll stick to the 7/19 release.

I am not sure how but a few people over at the Ubi forum have managed to get their money back from the preorder of the digital download. You might check out their posts.

It has something to do with Digital River. They are the ones actually responsible for the digital d/l.

I am only guessing here but if they are to have the DVD boxes on the shelves by July 19th then the game has to go gold in the next week.Of course there is no going gold for the digital download.

UBI has been as responsible about the release of CoD as a three year old with a china vase. Their forums still say MAY. I wouldn't hold my breath getting any kind of real answer from them.

Sadly, that leaves only place to ask - here, and Luthier and crew have nothing to do with the Western release of CoD.

Hello Rock. Meet Hard place.

I myself bought GoGamers release a few months ago - before the postponement of the U.S. release. I didn't go through the hoops some went through to activate it, figuring I can wait till the official release. Hopefully I can activate it on the 19th. As of yet I have no clue. We'll see.

Default I just want to see for myself...

Warts and all!
I understand the frustrations that some are experiencing...
But if my system shows itself to be a dog, it will mean groveling to the missus about needing to upgrade... AGAIN!
And life is too short as it is!

The small print about returns and order cancellations is lame, but the money is in their mitts, and I can't be bothered playing tag with customer service

...anyway, I want to believe it will contribute to it's continuing evolution, however small...

And thanks for not ripping me a new one guys... I just needed to vent...

ah I won't have a new system, maybe later this year but not now . . .

Besides I'll get the collectors edition for the goodies . . .and when the game is patched and they release

IL-2 Москва (which means a solid BOB)

I'll have a system to run it

I wouldn't be upset if they delayed US release to make it better.

Surely if Luthier and crew have nothing to do with the Western release then that can only be a good thing, because the Russian and Europe release was a disaster!!

IMHO anyone can get his money back because UBI missed the delivery date several times. There are laws protecting consumers in most of developed countries and the law has more power than fineprint in many developed countries. If the fineprint contradicts the law the company can be held responsible for cheating / committing fraud on consumers.

I do not think US release happens before MP sound is fixed, i.e. September or even Christmas-time according to my personal guestimate.

It is always possible to purchase a 2nd copy to play now and then give the UBI copy as a Christmas present to a friend/nephew when it is available.
