Default Joystick hotkey ini file

I cannot find any ini file that maps joystick keys outside of the game. In IL2, it was default.ini file in user. Could anyone help me to fine it out?
Salute,
DrJet

I think it's located in your My Documents folder.

Something like this: My Documents/1C SoftClub/il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover

Regards.

What you search is ConfUser.ini file.

Format of command is:

Joystick+Key1=trigger1 >>> that's mean Joystick button 1 is main trigger.

Additional controllers (joystick, throttle, steering wheel, rudder pedal, gamepad...)
is labeled Joystick1, Joystick2...

Different from IL-2 1946 that allow 2 buttons/keys per command, ie:

(IL-2 1846)
Fire MG = Joystick button 1 and backspace key

In CloD you can assign infinite buttons or keys for every function, just create a new
command for this function, ie:

(in CloD)
Joystick+Key1=trigger1
Backspace=trigger1
Alt F=trigger1
Shift Backspace=trigger1

Etc. Limited only by buttons/key available.

Another new feature is use a Key to modify a Axis behavior, ie.

Space Joystick+AXE_Y=1brakes

So, if you hit and hold Space key and pull stick back you dont deflect elevators,
you active wheel brakes.

Joystick+AXE_U=-1throttle >> Axis U control throttle (for engine 1)

Space Joystick+AXE_U= -1pitch0 >> Now axis U plus key control Prop Pitch (for engine 1)

Default Mapping British braking system to rudder pedal brakes

What a great piece of information.
I now have my Spit and Hurri brakes mapped to my rudder pedal brakes and they also show up on the settings screen in the sim.

Here is what I did:
Locate the userconfig.ini file in: "mydocuments\1csoftclub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover" folder.
Add the following two lines (in blue) to the configuser.ini file at the bottom of the page.

[HotKey pilotMove]
Joystick+AXE_Z=-1throttle
Joystick2+AXE_Y=1brakesrt
Joystick1+AXE_Y=1elevator
Joystick2+AXE_X=1brakeslt
Joystick1+AXE_X=1aileron
Control Joystick2+AXE_X=1brakes
Control Joystick2+AXE_Y=1brakes

Then I mapped a Control key on the keyboard to be pressed when applying the brake pedals. I now have both left and right working independently from each other than just the "b" brakes in the default. I also mapped the Control key to my Cougar Hotas speed brake control so that I just depress the key while applying the brake pedals.

Also note, the 1brakesrt and 1brakeslt above assigned to the same rudder pedal brakes - they also work. You just don't depress the Control key when you want these to work when flying an Axis aircraft.

NOTE: make sure you remark out or remove the original line "b" for the brakes as in the default.

Hope this makes sense.
cheers
