Default UP3 in game mini map

Hi, been having this problem since I installed the excellent UP3, and wondered if anyone had any idea on how to fix it.

When I first played UP3 I opened the mini map whilst in flight. I wanted to zoom in/out over an enemy target,so right clicked as usual...only thing was a mini menu popped up instead...i inadvertedley clicked on one of the options that changed the map to a see through one with friendly/enemy units and no terrain or waypoint path. Getting close to the target, panicking and then spazzing out I selected 'old IL2 style map' or an option meaning the same thing, so now when I right click the map does zoom in/out...

So my problem is, I have no mini path or terrain on my mini map and I can't get the mini menu to pop up in the mini map again to change the map back to the UP3 style one...does anyone know how to fix.

Granted, it's not the end of the world for me, but does make flying as leader on some unfamiliar maps impossible without knowing the terrain inside out.

Many thanks

Gribbers

I have no clue, why it doesn't show the menue for you anymore.

But zooming in and out works via mouse wheel. You should try to zoom with wheel, maybe it brings the menue back.

Will give it a go tonight.

Fingers crossed...takes me 4hrs to re-install back to normal again, and really don't want to take that...again

Open your conf file. Look under the [game] settings. Change the 3 parameters to the ones I have listed below:

[game]
mapPadMode=1
mapZoomMode=0
mapWheelMode=1

Yea the same thing happened to me i changed a setting, and something made it so the menu wouldn't pop up so i was stuck with that setting...I basically changed the mod mode, to normal 1946, and then play a mission open up the map.
Re enable the UP and the map should be at its default mode...where you can open the window to access things like the radar and other modes...

Pressing both mouse buttons simultaneously should change the mouse mode to what you are looking for.
