Best price for IL-2 COD so far ?

Hi all

I have just received my copy of IL2 COD and thought I would pass on the details to benefit anyone who needs a licensed copy. I purchased mine through ebay from an eseller based in India under the name of boomrang576. I paid £15.00 and that included postage. It's a fully licensed copy, boxed with DVD and license code. The package took 1 week to reach me and it installed perfectly right out of the box. Hope this is of use.

That's great... I would be afraid that Steam wouldn't honor the code (as they have told some customers [as reported on this forum] to get a refund as they didn't buy from an authorized seller).

Is it the Russian version?

Just checked the packaging and its the full English version, manufactured in Poland, imported, packed and marketed through e-xpress Interactive Solutions, 309-312 Autumn Grove, kandivali (East), Mumbai, India. I installed it from the DVD, registered it on steam and entered the activation code. Steam then downloaded what appeared to be a new full copy (it took all night for the download to complete), then it went through the updates and all seems fine. The language is English and, apart from the normal issues that everyone has reported here, it all works fine. Hope this helps.

I have just checked the box and there appears to be no region exclusions. I have also checked the DVD for you and there are no region exclusions evident there either. The only installation condition is the standard 'Internet connection required to activate game' statement and that's standard across all copies of this sim. It might be worth contacting the seller via ebay and double-checking though. You could also try contacting the distributor. The box lists them as info@expressgames.in Hope this helps.
