Angry Fix the sound

Sound keeps going both in single and multiplayer. It is such a basic requirement and yet does not work consistently, sound cuts out randomly and sometimes returns.

How they can consistently release these broken patches is beyond me, it destroys confidence and raise the question over competence. I am giving up playing it at all for now until they can get the basics fixed.

You may want to consider the possibility that the problem is somewhere between the keyboard and chair since it works for everyone else?

Oh sure, it could use some improvement but sound positioning and consistancy is working just fine. I used to get the "rolling" sound during take-off stuck playing throughout the whole mission but haven't even seen that happen since a couple patches.

So you might want to check your speaker settings in Windows being wrong or inconsistent with the game settings.

Good luck

With the latest patch I got the rolling sound back again. Also, I have the sound issues the first poster mentions.

Have the same problem too. 2 Sorties yesterday after patchinstall and both of em i encountered vanishing sound after like half an hour flying.
Then i updated my drivers (Soundblaster X-FI Fatality) and did another sortie. This time i flew like an hour and didnt have soundproblems. Well, i cannot say for sure but i hope the new drivers fixed it for me. It was late yesterday and i couldnt go on testing. Will do today and report if the soundbug is back or not.

Ive had no problems since my first install - BUT since the last patch I too experienced a complete drop-out of sound at the start of a single player mission last night. The sound came back after about 1 minute.
