yep,...still they need to tune AA and to improve sounds (external engine sounds)...also still sometimes I experienced slowdowns when panning with full zoom view (over trees)...

Last official update/hotfix fixed stuttering/pausing. No more CPU dropouts affecting GPU performance.

Full screen works great on my system. I was surprised by true widescreen. After benchmarking the Black Death track hundreds of times - I never released that I was not seeing true widescreen - until I saw it while benchmarking this version.

Devs may need to redo the Blackdeath track... I get a message in console that a shader file can't be found

With latest patch I had my firct CtD, but I hope it's just a random incident.

In general I agree, that things seem to get better.
Hopefully beta period will end in a couple of months and we'll start playing latest by Autumn!

It's a mixed blessing.

There were six guys on my squad night last night, and all could get on the SYN server (and off again!) with no problems, and while we saw either some amazing warps (or blatant print screening, does that still work?), by and large the flying was the smoothest so far.

But we all had sound problems, every one of us having to restart the game a couple of times through out the evening.

Now, most of my Squad are far from being Black Viper when it comes to Windows tweaking, it has to be said, but when such a wide range of HW, OS and config are hit by the same phenomenon then I think it's fair to say Clod is the culprit, and not some esoteric sound card driver issue.

the guys who are getting proper fullscreen, can you test for me I'd appreciate it very much:

1.Set windows sound scheme to on
2.Go into COD, and map a function say like flaps etc to your keyboard, if you hear the ding or noise from windows sounds then its not working properly still.

OR

Take a video of the start up slash untill the main menu. I used fraps and it recorded the black and white stripe screen after the reticle splash screen. This also shows it isnt in proper fullscreen.

OR Video the game menus it just wont work for me

Below is what i get if i try the video the games start sequence. Fullscreen is not fixed. i think you will see this if you just try any of those things above.
