hi,
It looks like it is working, but way too forgiving. Dogfighting for 20-30 minutes over the channel and Kent is not a problem in an E3 with full throttle and rpm set to around 2400 with constant WEP usage. I normally take three quarter of fuel and thats always enough, never had to RTB because of fuel shortage but then its not that easy to live long enough to see my fuel tank empty ![]() HWick |

Hi, I have created a new mission in FMB with full fuel (Spitfire) and I have flown for about half an hour (full throttle) but the gauges indicate always 36 gallons remain.Where do I wrong ?

The gauge shows only the bottom tank while you are still using the upper tank.
And the Bf109 has about 1 hour with a full tank, 1 and a half hour in fuel saving mode.

To judging fuel consumption, does anyone tested if channel map is really in 1:1 scale?
Some other issues related to fuel: my references indicates Spit MkI should have two fuel gauges bottom right with two press to read buttons and two fuel cock levers. Am I wrong? Cheers Last edited by pupaxx; 05-10-2011 at 10:36 AM. |
