Smile Your best performance in any aircraft

Hi all

I would be interested to know (and others) what is the best speed everyone has managed to achieve in all the aircraft available in ClOD...

Ideally in this format

- Aircraft
- Map conditions i.e clear sky, cloudy etc?
- Cruising or climbing
- Height
- Speed
- Pitch (if applicable)

Cheers

I'd love to comment on speed but it's not really been worth testing in fine detail because of all the bugs, I plan to do some basic speed tests in this release as it seems some have been resoolved. I have tried max alt in the Hurricane in the previous release version and made 30,000ft, which is a little under what it should have been.

Now that the 3D FPS bugs are mostly sorted perhaps we can get back into the important FM issues? We all understand (well I hope so) that no-one will win the 9 or 12 boost arguments, that is more a choice to be made. What I think we need to do first is prove the accuracy and fidelity of the current engine. Then at least we know the quality of the FM engine we are dealing with. No point in arguing over the boost if the plane can't match reality at any boost setting.

So, lets wind back the focus on what boost to use for a little while and see if we can closely match existing planes boost results first.

Lets see what results we can post, I'm sure Leister is also interested in this kind of data.
