Default Please, can You help me about CoD?

dear Sirs,
my questions can be appear simplistic, but I never heard about a sim with so many disputes, so please, I want Your help.

1. I'de like to purchase download version, and an internet connection for activation it's necessary, right?
Then, after activation no more internet connections, ok?

2. I live in Italy, and I want an english version. Is't possible purchased it? Where?

2. How and where I can download patches? I ask this, because I've searched, but I haven't find a sigle link for any patches. Too, internet connection at my house, where I'll install the sim, is very bad. A connection for activation is acceptable, but not to download patches. So I'll download patches at my office, where the sim will not installed. So, after activation, can I download patches on another PC where the sim isn't installed?

Otherwise, unfortunately, this sim is not for me.

Thanks in advance for reply. Best regards.

1 and 3 are possible but I can not give you more details as I did not try it myself. Patches are automatically downloaded from Steam so in the worst scenario you would have to copy the entire game folder from your office pc to home pc (or find updated files and copy them only). The entire installation is only about 4 gb iirc.

Don't think 3 is possible, you will need the game installed at office too, to download patches to it, then copy CoD folder to a usb memory, and bring it home, and overwrite to your '\Steam\steamapps\common\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover' folder.

3 is possible, it'll be annoying, but possible.

Here's how:

1. Buy the downloadable version via Steam.
2. Steam allows you to install and play from multiple computers (just not at the same time), so install it on the office machine too.
3. Update the office machine.
4. Copy the entire game onto a USB key. A 60 Gb USB key isn't much these days.
5. Over write the home machine with the contents of the USB key.

In time, I think you'll see this will be too annoying, and that you'd be better off patching at home, even if it takes all day to download while you're at work. Steam alloes downloads to resume, and to be honest, it seems quite a reliable and unobtrusive service.

2 is possible.

There are only two versions of the game, the international, and the russian one.

In the international version you can switch your language in steam to english if you like (several other options). All the gui menus, ingame voices, ingame menus etc will appear to you in english.
