To have animated population on the map!
Just imagine while buzzing by London, we can see specks of people walking on the streets, cars going by. It doesn't have to be anything high poly, high tex, or complicated AI - GTA 3 quality is good enough. If a PS2 can pull it off, I am sure a modern PC has enough power to do so. It would give the sim a sense of life, instead of mostly static map with some mission related moving vehicles. Of course, I'd rather have devs fix the game first, but I'd pay another full game price for this feature in the future. This and tessellation, to blend the really low res ground with the jarringly detailed aircraft. |

If there is one thing ive allways missed in flight sims... its infantry squads/battles.
playing with the thought of doing a low patrol, find a bunch of guys on the roads and spray away... aaaw |

I've always had some sort of moral hang up about strafing humans. I guess I am a sap
![]() When I first saw soldiers running away from vehicles columns while strafing in Il-2, I was both awe struck by the detail but felt bad about it. Which reminds me, the human population ai should react if an enemy plane is buzzing by (run like hell to a building). |

CloD doesn't seem to push CPU/GFX cards all that hard though. All the slow downs are seemingly due to optimization issues.

You could always use FMB to place some cows and sheep in the fields and then strafe them....go on, you know you want to.....
