Yes it is and i havent even had to change the default setting + runs better than in ROF IMHO.

Also as I fly 109's I am learning to lean to get the sight lined up rather than use the Shift F1 (loosen straps). It is too constrictive in that view i.e. you can only move your head 30 Degrees.

I find it very realistic, like bumping your head into the canopy. Now you really can feel how cramped the cockpit is!

I love how when you get into a very heavy spin it almost feels like your head IS being forced against the canopy.

Bear in mind you don't get that awesome wind rushing past sound you get in ROF, hopefully that will be added at some point

The vids i did, I use trackIR. It's quite natural.. I'm not sure the tilting head left/right helps me any but it's cool enough.
