Default Spitfire ammo loadout

Have been flying around 20 hours now.
With the conf.ini tweaks and low ground detail the game runs nicely 35-60fps.
Smoke seem to be the biggest fps killer.

My favorite air combat pairs are 110 vs Beaufighter and Fiat vs Gladiator

Noticed strange behavior with the Spitfire II's ammo loadout.
Normally it does not have any tracers, but in Dover mission it has and looks like some of the ammo are explosive type. There are big explosions going on there...
Ghost Hispanos or what?

Stuka seem to be almost impossible to bring down with .303s.

Although I haven't actually had any combat yet in CoD, what you're describing sounds like the "De Wilde" (not actually De Wilde ammunition, just called that) incendiary ammuntion which is designed to flash\ignite on impact.

I certainly find that. But then I'm not sure what I'm doing with my loadout and gun convergence.

The only 'explosive' round used by the RAF at the time was the Dixon/De Wilde incendiary. Must be them.

Makes a nice big flash but not much in the way of fragmentation damage.

I checked the ammo load out in Hurricane and Spitfires and they ALL have one gun loaded with "De Wilde" ammo as it should.

What I saw there was big explosions not those normal flashes and the damage done to the Condor was much more severe than in other quick missions with Spit II.
Might be some bug.
