Default i5-760 Nvidia 560ti GOOD results

I just installed this and with settings med this is perfectly playable on my system. Out of interest I upped it to High detail and change the AffinityMask to 14 in the conf.ini and that was resonable too. I've settled for Custom quality with med buildings and forrests, everything else fine and a 6 v 6 dogfight is pretty well fluid.

Like FSX this is highly processor dependant and mine's overclocked to 3.8Ghz which certainly makes a big difference.

Just wanted to report so anyone considering this game being put off by the reports in this forum should maybe give it a go - glad I did!

Hats off as well to the developers who are working tirelessly on patches and taking time to keep all of us informed.

SPECS - i5 760 3.8Ghz, 4GB RAM, 7200RPM HDD, Nvidia 560 ti, Win 7 64bit.

Cheers!

Which 560ti? I'm tempted to get one but cannot decide on an OC'd 1 gig version or the 2GB palit.

That's good to hear, since that is exactly my system, unless you have a 2gb 560 Ti

Also waiting desperately for Canadian availability!

I would go for the 2GB version. Since Cliffs Of Dover uses all VRAM, you're better off with more memory (but then your desicion should depend on the other games you run).

I would say its NOT highly processor dependant, if it was it would at lest use 100% of at least 1 physical CPU cores, with my I7 920 with HT off I am lucky if the game uses 50% of the first core which is <12.5% of the total available cycles with my gf gtx275

Mines a Gigabyte 1GB model factory overclocked to 900Mhz for memory. Certainly not the flashest card out there - it only cost $275 AUD! Reckon the 2GB Palit wouldnt hurt though!!
