Default Ranters, please.

I dont really know what to say. I have been told that Flight sim forums is filled with negativity, I have not been let down on that end.
But that the negativity should come from the majority of people who do not even own the game yet or atleast have not tried it proper.

I am not from russia or anywhere where I would understand menu language, but have managed to get it set to fly. (I have pre.ordered and additionally bought the russian version)

I hear things like "this will be the end of IL2 if this and that does not happen"
"I am not buying unless this and that gets fixed before EU and US release"
Seriously? If the game is not as good as IL2 1946 was at its peak then you will not get this one? Well, then you probably should not in my opinion.
Games like this has ALWAYS been a bit slow out the box, and what happens when people develope more and postpone the release? "I will not buy this unless it is released NOW!!!"

Come on people, have some faith. You all know it will be better, you all know community will develope tons of things for it in the future, you all know it will be good. If you dont, then you are new to these games, if so, pay attention to the old game and see the history evolve.

This is not a console game, this is not made for arcadic flight. Making things proper then takes time. Look at DCS and their BlackShark and now A-10C. It has been in beta for ages, they sold it so people could download beta and help. It is still not proper after release, but they fix things as they go along.

I know people will always want what is perfact at start, but it will not happen these days, we all know it.

Let us just support the few, the VERY small amount of people who still bothers to develope these sims for our small community of combat sim fighters.

I am not "old" in this forum, so I really cannot say to much, but I will go on the limb and state... If you have nothing but negativity to write, please do not write it until you have thought of a constructive way to bring your message forward.

Cheers. Cato... Now shoot me down, I know some of you who read this would feel targeted.

*Claps*

Unfortunately, it probably doesn't change the fact the game will be pretty much unplayable 'out of the box' bcus of the this epilepsy filter and unoptimized code. I don't think 1c intended to publish this early and Ubi was fed up, told them get it out. Its kinda obvious. I have faith its future proofed and will be spectacular eventually. But for right now, nope.

You would also have no reasonable expectation that the soured fish could be unsoured.......Your analogy is "off" and I am tired of taking mouthfuls of your self importance.

You're wasting your time Cato, there are a minority that will say the game is porked no matter how perfect or good it is.

Thats how they get their entertainment, If the game was the most perfect game ever launched and it came free with a buxom blonde Playboy Bunny, they would still complain about it

Oleg got us this far (despite my doubts), he's not going to let a poxy filter nor some minor optimisation get in the way now.

I just did. with the russian version and the pre-ordered western one.
So.......

I am not here to claim the game is perfact, I know it is not, but it is not doomsday and it will not ruin peoples life. Just dont go ramming into big words about this and that. That is all I want to say really. It is not perfect, but deserves some respect for the aim of trying to make it so.

Aye, I know. I just needed to say something. Guess it is like speaking to the big porcelain god, after a good night at the pubs. A lot comes out but it does nothing good where it hits

LOL, I can assure you, the minority will turn into a majority when the western version is released. Do you even have the Russian version?
