Default Dear russian fellows..

Please help a brother in need!

The developers confirmed they'll fix the fps problem caused by the epilepsy filter.. yet..

I do not want to play the butchered western/UBI version of this game, because they'll solve the problem at the cost of removing all the potential seizure causing things from the game, one by one:
- the propellers arc (removed or replaced with a clean trans lucid one)
- debris/flying parts from mopped up airplanes
- flashes/explosions
and so on..

You would not want to play a game like that, and I do not want it neither.

As far as I understood, Luthier said they'll completly remove anything related with the epilepsy filter from the 1C's russian version of the game, so, I ask you..

I want to buy the real game, can someone from you help me with buying the russian version of IL2 CoD (a downloadable version would be just fine), please?

Thank you,
Dan Antonescu

Just "dobroi nochi" now...
Downloadable russian version - no problem. Write in google: "купить ил2 битва за британию"...
Just to do with an activation key? Western key won't approach use for russian version... And russian key won't approach for use in European countries...

If you don't live in russia, how will this work? You need steam to activate. Won't steam know that you don't live in russia? What about patching? Steam tries to patch e.g., english patch to russian game? That's not gonna work. Please clarify your logic. Thanks.

I've already contacted the calendar girl for an intensive, full-immersion, Russian course in Moscow, I'm confident that after a couple of nights ... Errr weeks with her I will master the language enough to play the Russian version...

That sounds promising. I may end up doing that too. It would be nice if you could modify the language files for english.

I've created another clean Steam account (while being in UK), on which I've registred it using the serial code I've bought from Russia. The game registered ok, downloaded and updates ok, and also started.
so you can play it now???

I go to yuplay and it doesn't even show cliffs of dover. I don't get it. Maybe yuplay is blocking my region (U.S.).
