Default I will support this game

Here's what we need to do, we need to go out and buy the game on release day. It's the only way we can help the game to improve, speculating on the forums is a nice waste of time but doesn't help much. Just don't give me the "I'm not giving my hard earned €/$ away for nothing!" excuse, I'm considered poor where I live but I've had wet long nights on town and spent twice as much money on an evening that I don't even remember.

Usually I don't pay for broken -unplayable- games on release but in this case I'm willing to make an exception and the reasons are clear:

1. I love WWII flight sims
2. Alternatives, Hawx or Ace Combat anyone?
3. Oleg and teams track record
4. I love WWII flight sims

My thoughts entirely mate.

People pay £35+ to go and watch a 90 minute football match and don't always get the result they were hoping for.

A few beers and a takeaway curry are about the same price, depending on a few variables.

We'll be enjoying CoD for years to come for the same money.

For this reason alone I will get it now in April. The fact is Oleg doesn't dissapoint and all I have to do is buy and simply wait for Oleg to optimise it.

So yeah I'm onboard men, tally ho!

I'm in. What we can do is contribute to the improvement/possible fixes by reporting any issues we might find. As for comparing a game to a dinner and a movie...That's entirely up to the persons priorities.

I agree with all the above.
Oleg and co have sweated buckets over this release, and are still having a very hard time with it.
They need our support, and they badly need our money.

The more people who buy it, the better it will become.

I'm in too. While others put their hand on their hearts and swear they won't lift a finger in support of the title until it's either perfect or goes bust, we can at least do our bit to further development and ensure it survives the first crucial 12 months.

Later when begrudging, self righteous old men here finally go back on their word and do decide to get involved, they can do so because we made it possible. Not that you'd get a word of thanks for it though.

Unfortunatley I agree with you all. We really need the game that the developers wrote, and not some porked version, and I'm quite happy to get a dodgy copy in order to play that game. But in the meantime, I'll be buying the knackered version from ubisoft. IL2 was my favourite game of all time, and that's enough for me to buy this game on release, even if it does seem like there's been an almighty balls up.

Thumbs up Count me in

I'm in too!

Flipped out with epilepsy and other frenzies around the release, but after thinking about it crying and ranting won't do much good. Will buy and support this title which ever way I can. It must succeed if we expect to play a decent next gen WW2 flight sim, there are no alternatives.

Salute Oleg & Team!
