Looks good, lets hope they keep the really naff and tacky "glamour" pics off it. I'm sure they will, people in the the UK are well past '70s style promotions thankfully.

Pathetic.

The game is out tomorow in Russia and UBI doesn't even have a website.
Oleg should sue this lazy thieves for not honoring part of the contract: advertising.

Not having a dedicated website for a new game in 2011 is just...I can't express it

In any case, since the game is that good, who cares for a website?
Community has everything needed, from lobby to websites that can accommodate thousands of downloads, so let Ubi or Steam or whoever else is involved continue their sleep.

Aha, look again my friend. They have made some subtle changes. There are new sections across the top, e.g. see http://il2sturmovik.ubi.com/cliffs-o.../key-features/

The 'old' site which was http://il2sturmovik.ubi.com/cliffs-of-dover/en-GB/home/coming-soon.aspx is now broken. If you tried typing in the url without the coming-soon.aspx at the end, you used to see a mess of work in progress, then latterly it was 'access forbidden', but now it is the website 'proper'.

The original blue-byte website for Il-2 was - er...filled with content months before release.

I can't imagine it would take that long to collect Oleg's dev updates into a blog (at the very least). I've been suspicious of UBI (eg. on DRM decisions - for obvious reasons after SH-V), but I'm now willing to agree and say that this is pathetic on the whole.

CoD is supposed to kick off three additional sims in the next two years... it should be being "built" as a genre. But we're not really seeing much effort or intent from the bureaucracy.
