Default Yea, the rudder

Why is the rudder in today's games implemented very wrong?!
Besides Battlefield where it's still functionin correctly (for an arcade game)
it stupidely banks and rolls while it should Yaw only.
There's no use for a rudder workin like CoD, RoF or jets like Falcon BMS and DCS World! You better do that with the joystick instead..

I thought I let you know...
BTW. lotsa patches needed with the games mentioned.
Also I don't like the constant rudder trim adjustment in CoD and still not flyin straight and level.

Faman, you are flying a simulation, not a game. i think it is safe to say that the rudder is implemented more realistic than in Battlefield.

What is more, be aware that not all planes in CloD have a rudder trim, which is historically accurate... (109 for example).

Also, be aware that the Team Fusion Patches are done by a group of volunteers that are not payed. Official support for the game has ended in 2011.

Not strictly correct. When you yaw, there is an element of induced roll. This is because you change the angle of the wings relative to the airflow. One wing now generates more lift than the other, so you get roll. This is normal, especially when your airspeed is high.

Yes there are lots of patches. But each one is made sequentially. The TF team does not have access to official game, so unfortunately they are unable to patch via steam (which would be automatic, and much easier)

Constant rudder trimming is pretty normal. You see, as you trim your airspeed will change. When the airspeed changes the balance of the aircraft changes. So you need to trim again.
Anytime you change your engine or your attitude, you should be "on the trim". Trimming out the aircraft is vitally important.

The only aeroplane that is difficult to get flying straight and level is the hurricane (a bug, I think). All the others can be trimmed out very nicely.

No, roll is a secondary effect of yaw in the real world.

Sorry.. I think you're all fooled by the socalled "real" world of today.
The Fools implemented the very wrong rudder behaviour in an unreal computerworld on a planet that doesn't seem to excist anymore.
And I'm pretty sure about THAT!

After the year 2000 Planet Earth stopped excisting, before that it was real...
The rudder was altered for bedtime purposes and money, like sex and porn industry. Say Planet Whore, so you're in fact not a pilot.

Ask any real life pilot (... oh, wait.... bongodriver is actually one!!!) and he will confirm you what philstyle and bongodriver have written.
