No Artillery Mode - Need an explanation.

How come the Japanese get the 200mm rocket? Okay this may be a bit of a rage complaint, but when it is nestled behind a rock and flanked by tanks it is impossible to get rid of.

Granted it was a high point Kawana Mine, combat Japs v UK (Hey, beggars can't be choosers). The inconsistent terrain made it impossible to get a shot at the launcher. The only time I managed to get one was when a Daimler struggled with lag to weave around 2 Chi-To's and some other shit.

Never playing that shit again.

Yeah, thats why arty on map that small really should be turned off. Its not as bad on bigger maps because there is more room to sneak in and kill it off, but on those tiny maps...its suicide for whoever is on the receiving end. All in all I dont like Arty in MoW but its a factor and I guess just has to be dealt with....On tiny maps like Kanawa its kinda a cheap way to play...

just that regardless what people say the japs ARE not as easy to play like the rest, Soviets, US, Germans and UK. So if you take away their artillery there isnt that much more left.

Also I know its a bit much but you can counter it relatively easy with something like the Landmatress.

My problem is that when No Artillery mode is on, the Japanese still get the rocket mortar, while no other country has the means to get rid of it.

japans are not finished for MoW. at time japans are not more than a nation for "testing".

playing japs with no arty is a "gentleman agreement".

I dont see Japan as that much worse then the other nations. Maybe early game when they dont yet have access to Chi To's and Chi Ri's but mid game when they get thier real tanks they are just as good if not, imho, better then the other nations. Thier Chi To has penetration somewhere between a King Tiger and a M4(76)W Sherman. The Chi-To is certainly just as good gun wise as the Panther, it blows away the Tiger. Thier Infantry are just as deadly as any other nation. Played an Infantry only, Germany Vs Japan and we lost....so there is no saying their infantry are lacking. Only early game do they lack.....

You got hoodwinked to a game that you will never win. only very bad player of men of war set up Japanese vs UK without artillery.

because the Japanese have all their artillery option open at all time. and the UK don't have any vehicle like the German Panzer IV E or the Soviet BT-7A as well as the US M8 Scott to give you a fighting chance.

You can never win UK vs Japanese without artillery even if you are pro with more then 3000 game.

so if you see a game like that with no artillery vs Japanese don't join. you're asking to lose unconditionally.
