Changing from Cougar to Warthog?

Hey gang,

I am going to be changing controllers for my pc setup, I previously have been using a TM Cougar with TM Elite rudder pedals, and will be using a new TM Warthog setup, along with Saitek Combat rudder pedals.

I previously had set up a joystick profile for my Cougar specifically for CLoD, obviously I will be doing the same, for my new Warthog setup.
I have done certain key assignments, ie added or changed some in CLoD, specific to my joystick profile. I certainly would like to keep the key assigment information intact - however of course it will be a whole new stick, throttle and rudder pedals - will have toe brakes now as well.

Is there anything I should do beforehand, after installing my new setup but prior to launching CLoD? Is there a joystick file perhaps I should delete? Again I don't want to lose my key assignments either... I will map them to the new stick with it's software.

I hope this is not too confusing - any tips would be greatly appreciated!
