Are there any chances we might get to see this bird?
As it was still in use in 1940 and involved also in the raids on England. We have seen screen shots of a He 111P but the He111E was also still in use. This plane would also be of great interest for Spanish civil war missions, or Sino-Japanese missions. There is a tail fin of a He 111E at the Imperial War Museum, Duxford. http://www.flickr.com/photos/36928008@N08/4629329447/ ![]() |

Nicer than the He111H I find. But I guess we'll have to wait to see one. Totally new cockpit.

Might be tough to find good reference material for it. Especially cockpit and other station layouts.

There is on He 111 E-3 at Museo del Aire, Madrid, wich was delivered to Legion Condor in 1938.
The plane seems to be complete. There is a picture of the plane, and cockpit-shot of the instrument panel. Go to http://www.preservedaxisaircraft.com/ for a closer look. Skarphol |

Here that picture of the instrument panel ![]() ![]() Well it is a aircraft that was used in the Battel of Britian, the Spanish Civil War, and the Sino-Japanese-Conflict, so it would cover many fields of interest in SoW. |

I would love to see this aircraft, though. Nearly anyone would agree that the Spanish Civil War is long overdue being the subject of a decent game. It is a pity. |
