A sad story, but at least they tried to survive it seems. Would be easily worth a movie, if one can say so. There is drama and irony for it too. A true story how a man and woman ended up on uninhabited pacific island. I wish they were lovers or else things would had sucked even more.

I wonder did USAF or NAVY try to search for them? The article did not tell.
