reinstall problems

I unistalled this game recently, now, when I try to reinstall it I get an error message saying unins000.msg missing, correct the error or purchase new copy, this is a DVD-rom not a download. Can anyone help?

Do you still have unins000.msg in the game forlder? If yes delete it. This message means that the game is still not properly installed.

My pc is having an upgrade when I get it back I will check that out, although, wouldn't all folders have gone with the uninstall. I will let you know asap.

Got pc back and did what you suggested and it worked, the game is now reinstalled. Thank you for your help.
