Just installed mods now all my saved games are gone !

Any help? Hope they aren't permanently lost

Installed all the mods from the sticky in the mod forum and the gift bag new items.

You have most likely switched to gift bag. Its saves are incompatible with the goneral campaign. Switch back and they will reappear.

So clicking that button that says something about new campaign on the title screen will change it back? I hadn't clicked that yet so I assume it turned the new items thing on automatically when I installed it?
Was afraid to touch anything after seeing the save games were gone.

*whew* That button brings up a menu to switch between the new items mode and original, saved games seem to be safe. Freaked me out. I've got 4 separate games going each with seems like around 100 hours play time invested in each. I've been playing from dawn till dusk since Jan.1st

When I switched back to original mode the whole thing froze hard. Hard to CTRL-ALT-DEL and kill process on kb.exe. Restarting and it's in original mode now though. Really scary.
It activated the new mode automatically so it just looked like the saved games were wiped.

That's normal

I happens to everyone, but once you kill and restart the game, the modes change.

Sir i try to switch into the gift bag mod bug it says that save games are corrupt and when i revert back to the original which had 7 saves it also says my save games are corrupt. I really don't know what to do now
