Is it possible to knock the driller over ?

When you chat with the dwarf he gives you two hints about the driller; one of them is that the repair droids will heal him and the other is that if you knock him down he can't use his guns. Is there actually a way to knock him down ?

I don't think so... he does move back (twice) when you deal enough damage, in which he essentially wastes that turn by moving (and not attacking or summoning droids).

yea i know that; the first time i thought *wow* what a pushover and then when i saw him move back i began to get worried it would be a long night...
