This is driving me crazy. I cant seen to hit nothing during on line play. Not even any smoke when I'm pumping lead right in the arcade mode sights. I have a PS3 wireless connection getting 3.0 mbs connection. Single play is OK and I have finished most of the campaigns without having problems hitting target. WTF????

In online arcade the target indicator can be a little off due to the lag (however small) so it becomes a bit of a distraction. Try and concentrate on where your bullets are actually going and I'm sure you'll start to hit stuff!

I second that. the arcade sight is off. An optiion you may want to explore is realistic or simulator. The learning curve is a bit steep, but once you get the hang of it you'll love it. Plus, more and more players are moving over to those two modes of play. On both modes there is no sighting reticle, so its all by "feel"

Yeah, this is caused by latency. You are getting what I call Mini Lag. Sometimes you can get it bad and nothing you fire at ever gets hit because by the time the game registers that you have fired in the correct point of sky to hit a plane the plane is now further along in their flight trajectory. What you have to do is lag lead your target. As Arcade is played at much higher speed the lag effects it much more than the realistic and sim. In arcade you might need to give your target a huge lead or guess their next turn to kill them.
