Default Landing Brakes on Pad?

Can't find any reference to 'Brakes' in the Controller layout diagram (in the booklet - Xbox Vesrion).

How are they applied and is there a screen message?

Thanks guys but it's the game pad controller I am interested in.

Intsruction booklet is pretty poor considering it doesn't even mention that you can 'pan' by pressing the right controller or, as I discovered today, flaps can be set to Raised, Combat, Landing and...... Take off! Not that setting to 'Takeoff' matters much........managed ok so far by just raising them.

I am looking at the standard game controller interface to establish the braking function in terms of the hardware/software. With no patch fix for the stick, I am investigating other hardware solutions and see if i can establish the control data.

When you game pad controller do you mean a standard pad or do you mean like a street fighter controller. Whatever the controller the brake 'should' be whatever is trottle down. If not it's bugged like the flight stick.
