Default Good fun last night

Last night has some serious dogfighting going on. In a rare occurence, there was a bunch of us playing Team Battle in simulation mode. The game just gets taken up a notch in sim. Going back even to realistic doesn't cut it. I love this game in sim. It's just so fun.

So yeah. Not to say it couldn't use a patch or two, and I'll always take the chance to slide in a "we need German cockpits and a cockpits only option to go with that" comment, but even as it is now, this is just such a fun, great-looking game. I just need more people to kill!

Start playing sim more, people!

Yeah that was AWESOME! especially when we did Spit MKIIs Vs ME-109 E-3's over Dover was incredible, I played a realistic match and I just HAD to quit it was simply horrible.

Yup the Mk2 V 109E over dover was a superb few games, quite a few have commented on it today saying it was one of the best games they have ever played

Cheers for watching my 6 a couple of times last night to, the whole "turn left/turn right" sure helped

Hopefully get it done again soon. Though not tonight as im effectively grounded have to spend some time with the gf.

definitely the best games I've ever played.

And yeah team work is key to winning a Team Battle, especially if you've got someone on your 6, you need someone to head on in there and then they need to tell you which way to brake left or right so that you can pull the bandit the right way so he shows your wingman his tail and your team mate can sweep in and get the kill.

that's why turn fighting shouldn't work, because you should tail, fire a few, and break off and come in again, otherwise if they're playing properly they should have a wingman coming to help them clear their six.

What plays a big part though (for me) is i know its team battle, so if someones on my 6 then fair play they may shoot me down, but i will take my target down with me before i go, because i know when im dead.....i'll respawn.

Now if respawns were OFF...... then its a whole different ball game!! If im tailing someone and then his wingman gets onto my 6, im not going to stay on my target, im going to try and get the guy away from my 6 because i know once im dead.....theirs no coming back for revenge.

That and the added fubar situation that is if i do enough damage to someone and use up alot of ammo, i want them to go down before i get shot down by his wingman because i know if i die he wil lcrash and my team doesnt get a kill

yeah I see where your coming from, but in the same vein, I don't want to go down and give the enemy a kill.

The first one was my favourite, for some reason no matter where I turned there was an Emil in front of my gun sight. And they just kept exploding it was beautiful!

Yeah ! I was there, my first game online. It was simply awesome. How many of you guys were using joystick or controller ?
My wish would be cockpits for all plane and an option for the host to lock camera for cockpit view. That would be nice !

My GT is TurboFly.
