Default First mission in Sicilia Whoooaa I love it

With the first mission in the campaign of Sicilia I really know why I bought that special Game. What an amazing dogfight, It was incredible. The scene was beautiful partly in the see partly on island and the brightness of the sun. And you are dogfighting like an eagle Whoaaa

Bandits were easy to sport (from your wingman I mean and really for the first time) Well I should admit that I shot down one Spit but to my defence he was really adopting an aggressive behavior toward me (well maybe not... just trying to avoid my raging fire) I cut one Bandit in a half, burn an other in flame. An another went to a dramatic stall.

Even the ground target so easy to spot. It was a pleasure to bomb that batteries.

If you are playing reallistic and you want to go to sim I highly recommend to begin with that mission. It changes from bombing unfindable tanks in Stalingrad (impossible)

But whoaa whoaaa whoaaa I love that mission I love this game And I love my Aviator Stick (even if its hard to adjust the trim and I would enjoy to be able to zoom and throlle at the same time) but it will be possible with the coming patch.

But whoaa what an amazing dogfight You understand I just quit the game one minute a go and Iam so hot with it and now I am going to bed because I work in 4hours

Tchuss

EDIT: my xboxname is Benrizz for those who want to play sim online (Ive just unlock the spit MkIX the first decent fighter)

XBOX LIVE ID: Benrizz

Agreed. Sicily is a really good looking map and there is alot of dogfights with the Italians. I'm stuck on the following missions, Wheels of Fortune. With my Aviator stick I just can't successfully land, I've tried about 10 times. I play on sim and 0 attempts. I just refuse to use the 360 controller pad for this mission cause its dogfights are the most enjoyable in the game so far...

Yeah... I agree 100%. The Sicily theater is awesome. I was flying a P-51B shooting down MC-202s last night in a training mission. Beautiful stuff!

I also really enjoy the Sicily missions. If you're having trouble landing with the AV8R, just switch to the controller when you have to land, but use the stick for the rest of the mission. Worked a treat for me. Just disconnect the AV8R from the console when you're ready to try landing and turn on your gamepad. Do the same in reverse when you're ready to take off again.

Yes I'm agree; it's a very nice mission.
Sicilian landscape is reproduced really very accurate.
I assure you because I live over there.

Bye...

Are you on PS3. I don't think it's possible with the 360 since the controller is *tied* to the game in use and to the current logged in profile. I've tried but to no avail.

I know how to do it...

Indeed you can't switch your controller

What you have to do is belly land close to the plane. And the game take it.

Even with a belly land which finish by an explosion it works (but you can't just crash)

I did it (on the 360) exactly as I described. Fly with the stick, land with the controller, and take off with the stick again.
