Default The perfect co-op/multiplayer gametype for the sequal of the game

Flying fortress.

Team A is a B17 crew (more people on team A then B)
Team B is a group of german fighters (about 4 players)
And team C are the little freinds , a flight of 3 p51 mustangs

*Player 1 on the A team is the pilot (he has 2 lives taking in the account there is a co-pilot) And his job is to co-operate with the navigator to get to the target for bombing.

*Player 2 is the navigator , he is the only one in the game with a map and his job is to set waypoints and altitudes on this map for the pilot to follow to the target.

*Player 3 is the Nose gunner/bombardier , his job is to defend the front of the b17 with his 50 caliber turret and when the time comes for it , he will use the norden bombsight to sight the target and remotely control the aircraft on a bombing run until the release of the payload.

*Player 4 and 5 ( if one drops out he can switch between positions) are the waist gunners and their job is to protect the b17 from the sides.

*Player 6 Is the flight engineer and his job is to operate the top turret on the B17 to protect from fighters attacking from above.

*player 7 is the dreaded ball turret gunner , his job is to protect the b17 from attacks from below the plane.

*player 8 is the lonely tail gunner and his job is the most important , protect the plane from attack behind the plane.

The rest of the players are split up between the german attacking team and the little freinds.

The job of the b17 crew is to sucessfully bomb the target and the job of the german flight is to destroy or seriously cripple the b17 to the point of ineffectiveness. If for any reason a non essential player from b17 crew has to leave the game (non essential meaning gunners , the nose gunner excluded) An AI bot will take over in his place.

Who would like to see this gametype in the game?

Obviously you've seen my response here, but for clarity for others: I'm not sure you'll find enough people that are willing to man the gunner seats, at least I wouldn't.

I would more like to see the 'same' idea.. but then with 2 people per B-17. One pilot and one guy gunning (using the guns like you can now).

The other ones can take a B-17 as well, so you have more like a flight of 2 or 3 B-17s and everyone will have enough to do . To have a player per gunner could get quite boring.

If the game was more popular online, it could be great. But now there wont be many enemy bf109s because there wont be many players. So the gunners wont have a lot to do. 1 gunner will be enough.

But, for a sequel it could prove to be good , just give the players a choice if they want to gun, wich gun, and/or maybe take an extra B-17.

ow, and of course, the friendly P-51s need to be flyable, not like the are now

I would not like to see this. Mainly because nobody is going to volunteer to play a gunner in the B17.

One person in the B17 with AI controlled guns, that can be switched too like in the PC game, and everyone else escorting him is a good idea.
