Sound problem on Vista

Hi,

I have just bought Kings Bounty which I am running on Vista (32bit).

If I load the game as soon as windows has booted, I get the intro and the sound works. If I quit the game and then reload, I do not get the intro and no sound.

I have a realtek sound card which has the latest drivers.

I have the Nobilis version of the game.

I am also running the 1.7 patch.

Any ideas?

Just copied on the 1.7 NOCD exe and the intro/sound works everytime I load now.

Weird!!?!?!?!
