Default Map Saving In Gem Editor

found the solution?
Hi Everyone

First of all I would just like to say a big thank you to all the modmakers for your work on keeping this great game alive.

I am new to using the Gem Editor, but after alittle struggling with getting to grips with it, I managed to get a basic map going, then when I was happy with it, I hit f3, and then save as, gave my map a title, exited the editor, went back in, went to load my saved map, but it wasen't there, so went to the mow:as folder, and there was my saved file in the folder called Map, title and all, so I tried to open it from there, but no joy.

How can I get my saved map to work?

My game is the latest verion, downloaded from Steam.

thanks

Best is to work on it as a mod, look up some simple mod that adds a map and change to save ur map there, when the mod is loaded editor sees the files added with mod.

Otherwise you would have to save it to root game folders resource\map\ ...

hey I managed to sort the problem what I never did was, hit f3, go to multi, then hit 4x4Suburb, and then there it was amongst other maps, what I was doing wrong was looking for the saved map in the first pane that shows when I hit load.

but thanks for the feebback.
