I would propose this useful addition to IL-2 planes inventory; it was the sole Merlin engined (1300 HP) and was produced in the highest number after P-40N. The original "Warhawk" served much in North Africa and Italy.

HUGE +1.
Absolutely necessary for North Africa!

F used different radiator/cooler arrangment. I think the "inside" scoop details would have to be modeled differently.

F deleted top carb intake (since Merlin drew from bottom), and it revised radiator/cooler arrangment, affecting both the shape of the opening and the core section detail. F would require some of it's own modeling details.

The new scoop also decreased directional stability, much like the loss of directional stability caused by the additional propeller blade on the P-39Q-20 thru -25 (Q-10 in game) ...
Stability in general is poorly modeled in game. |
