Default Two cents from a former lurker

Hi Folks

An old time IL-2 player, and I've been lurking here since COD came out to see which way things would go.

Finally bought it. Understand all the gnashing of teeth and frustration, but I got to tell you, I like it. Worth what I paid, and hoping it gets better.

Running it on an IMAC with a Windows partition. Half a gig video card means pretty low settings--FPS around 15 over land, but I'm trying to massage more out of it.

One surprise--that there aren't more player generated missions and campaigns available, after a year. I really liked some of the old IL-2 campaigns--Battle of Britain, defending Henderson, the Norwegian campaign. Realize we have a limited map, but Rhubarbs, night interceptions? Wish I was experten enough to make them myself.

Going through my learning curve.

One glitch--the blue text for autopilot, gear, flaps, pitch, etc was there, has disappeared. Anybody know why? Is that text covered by a control option I might have hit by mistake?

Thanks for the help. S^ to all. Great to be back.

Jungmann
