My desktop can run this game fine until it all of a sudden for no reason at all it drops below 1 FPS and it can last anywhere between a few seconds and 30 mins until I quit and restart the game. My laptop can run this game on the default settings for medium with no problem.
What I have done. 1. set settings to the ABSOLUTE minimum 2. restart the game EVERY time I die or land 3. deleted the game cashe file EVERY time I restart the game 4. went into msconfig and remove all unnecessary programs at start up and restarted NONE OF THIS HELPS! #1.
When you launch the game, for a short moment, the log of Ubisoft appears. This is a small video that plays just before the real game being loaded. Have you REMOVED (no ned to delte, just rename that particular video file) this one???? #2. Change the settings of power management for: Your computer: Put it to full power Your graphics card: Put it to full power ~S~ |

There you can rename it, or delete it. Remember, that if you do a file integrity check through steam cloud, it will reinstall that file and you will have to do it again. To force your card to "clock up to 3d application speed, you need to go into your driver settings and set the power settings to performance i believe in the ATI control panel. (not sure what its called, im an Nividia guy...heh Hope it helps. Im not familiar with your Video card... but your System ram on your desktop looks a little low and could use some upgrading. 352ndRibbs
