Nexus 2 is back possibly!!!!!
A few years back I was hunting for a game that would give me the kind of experience I had found in Homeworld 1 and the only game that came close, and perhaps would have have beaten it if it wasn't for the terrible voice acting that did nothing to help the storyline, was Nexus - The Jupiter Incident a undiscovered gem.
A concept video for Nexus 2 was released a few years back but it never came to light... http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...teLwMhxg#at=23 That's the concept video to jolt your memory So if you are a fan of this game and really want to see it then you can support the project http://www.games-plant.com/nexus2/ YOU ONLY PAY IF THEY RAISE THE 400,000 EURO'S IN THE ALLOCATED TIME, IF THEY DO NOT SUCCEED YOU DO NOT GET CHARGED EDIT: It looks like someone has already pumped 2500 Euro's in it (No it was not me) !!!!!!! P.S If you did not play the first one you can buy it from steam for £6.

Nexus 2 was a great game. I remember enjoying it a bunch, but felt that tactics didn't go as deep as they looked. Always had a hard time targeting individual systems and seeing the impact that had on gameplay.
400.000 seems a bit too much to get from fans... have there been other projects where this happened? |
