Default FPS while using Windows Media Player

Very slightly OT : Does anyone know if while flying CloD ( or for that matter RoF or Il-2,) playing tunes on Windows Media Player effect FPS? I like to choose my own soundtrack to come in on my earphones esp during fast forward moments, but not if it eats up FPS during game play.I would test with FRAPs but I don't seem to be getting the FPS window to work with CloD....

You have to open the console, type the commands and press Enter instead of exit

BTW- The answer is not much if at all ...maybe 1-2 FPS,which makes a little difference when you are running at an average of 17-22 FPS another fact I found out with this little experiment...boy ,I sure hope the powers that be ( Luthier) address performance soon...
