Funnily enough, on the performance/optimization side, that's only playable because it's ArmA2's engine (Liberation 1944 was a mod which the team are making standalone game) which has gone through a couple of years of patches It was buggy as hell when it came out, kinda like a certain other game ^^

Been really looking forward to this, their Panther looks sweet as a nut and the mission builder's great. Arma 2 was a nightmare for me when it first came out. Now I know my system can run it well. Just like RoF, who should really develop a WWII sim based on their engine, perhaps Flying Tigers?

Graviteam's Blaze of War looks exciting too. If they ever come up with a Sho't Centurion I'll simply explode.
