Saw that in the paper, looks really interesting. Don't have C5 though, so I'll have to wait till it hits the internet surf.

Just finished watching this now. It was good to see them trash the Shitfire at the start

On a more serious note...

For 60 mins i felt proud to be British, listening to the new yank owner sing its praises and say how beautiful it was etc. I looked good seeing her come out of that steel container and get reassembled again before taking flight.

A national icon of Great Britain.

One small concern......

The test pilot said it flew well but the ailerons needed slightly adjusting, to which the new owner/pilot replied.....

Ailerons? are those the flappy things on the wing?

Hahaha.

Just watched this programme on Catch up. Intersting stuff, amazing how carefull they had to be taking it apart, Ive never seen a bigger roll of bubblewrap lol. I could have done without that bloody choir singing though, especialy over the top of the merlin starting up after rebuild, that anoyed me.

Oh and Foz lol, I'm pretty sure that aileron comment was a joke. He said he was lucky to have some spare cash? wow was that an understatement that guy is LOADED. What did he have? A P-51D, a P-40, a Tigermoth and god knows how many corvettes in that hanger.
