Hi guys,
I know very little about the technical side of computers - I'll say that up front. Its tax time, and it looks like I'll owe the government, so rather than give them my money I thought I'd buy a new laptop specifically play Cliffs of Dover. I only have a couple of days left though to make the purchase! I have read the technical requirements of the game, but no laptops I can see seem to have the graphics cards listed in the specs. Can anyone tell me what laptop will definitely run this game well? In other words, who owns a laptop that plays this game really well, and what is it? I'm really interested in proven results rather than assumptions since it seems many of you are having trouble getting the game to run well. I'm hoping to spend around $1000 - but will consider higher prices. Thanks very much for any advice you can give me. ![]() For example - how would this computer work do you think? Intel Core i5-480m 2.66GHz CPU Blu-Ray ROM/DVD Super Multi DL Wireless 802.11 B/G/N + Bluetooth Win 7 Home Premium Webcam Bluetooth WIFI ATI Radeon 5650 with 1GB Dedicated Graphics 640 GB HDD 4 GB RAM 15 Inch Screen http://www.jbhifi.com.au/computers/t...ook-sku-66343/ Last edited by Gree; 06-22-2011 at 01:28 PM. |

If you're ok with running CLOD at low settings then have a look at Acer Timeline X 3830/4830/5830 TG.
