Glas / canopy texture disappears ?

This happens mostly in multiplayer. Losing all the graphics that are made ​​of glass. And Launcher.exe crach.. Cant play online for more than 5 min

Same bug I have, showed up since the last patch.
Can be temporary fixed (for me at least) by letting steam check the gamefiles..in my case it found 10 that were corrupt. Guess it's from all the CTD's and lockups it suffers.
Problem is the glass and reticule disappear again within 10 minutes of repairing the files.
Are you also running windows XP?

If the glass dissepears shouldnt those little chrome nobs for opening the side windows fall down onto the cockpit floor??


Havent had that problem my selfe luckily, those nobs kan kill u if it happens in mid DF.

I have the same issue, only happens online and I too run XP.

Also the tracers disappear as well when this happens.

No ideas how to fix it or what it is, just thought I'd add my problems to the thread.

Bumpy bump..

Has anyone found a solution for this? I haven't but then again im no expert!

At the moment online flying is largely a waste of time because of this issue.

I am thinking of upgrading to Win 7 in the near future, I wonder if that will help.

My comp:

Quad Q6600 @ 3 gig, 4 GB ram , WIn XP 32, HD4870 1GB with catalyst 11.3 (the latest as I write this post)

I have reverted to Catalyst 10.10 (simply because i still had a copy) and this appears to have fixed this error for now.

Not going to gaurantee it, but its worked ok for the last 40 -50 minutes online.
