Default Communique From Fighter Command.

To all active units and training squadrons,

It has come to the attention of Fighter Command that there has been an alarming increase of pilots flying their aircraft through Tower Bridge in London.

Whilst we appreciate the enthusiasm and alacrity of our pilots, and the obvious agility of our fighter aircraft, it should be noted that this behavior puts both pilot and aircraft at unnecessary risk, and it alarms the civilian populace at their morning tea.

We therefor ask that all such "flying circus" behaviors cease immediately.

Save your enthusiasm for Jerry.

Yours, etc, etc,

Dowding.
