Default Can't bailout in IJN fighter pilot campaign

For some reason I'm unable to bail out in my current campaign, I'm flying as a fighter pilot for the IJN with a A6M2-21.
I've first discovered it when I needed to bail out after I had ran out of fuel and couldn't make it back to my aircraft carrier.

I've got no problems bailing out when flying the same aircraft in the quick mission builder and I've also tried another campaign (flying for Finland) and I've had no problems there either.

I've tried re-assigning the bail out key but that didn't work. Does anyone know if there's a solution?

Running IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946 v4.09m on Windows Vista SP 2 (32-bit)

Probably the mission designer marked no parachutes, as Japanese pilots had none in the early stages of war (not sure about dates or anything, but I think I've heard similar stuff somewhere)

Ah yea, that could explain it
Didn't know a mission could be designed so that you couldn't use parachutes.

Thanks a lot

You can go into the respective mission/s of the campaign and check the player aircraft to check for the above (Lucas - posting). You can change it and save the mission, if it is important enough to you.
