So I have been happily gaming with my new Sapphire 5970, but my favorite flight sims, IL2 & OverFlandersFields, do not support crossfire!
I am running a triple screen, dell 2007fp 4800x1200 setup in eyefinity. IL2 is actually not a problem as half of the 5970 is more than enough to run it liquid smooth, but OFF definitely could use crossfire support! My concern is, SOW is going to be much, much, more demanding than IL2 so I was hoping that they provide crossfire support. I have a 5870 sitting in the closet so I would like to be able to trifire the 5870 & 5970 for SOW so I can run everything maxed at 4800x1200!! Here are some pics of my setup with OFF and Crysis: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...0720098687.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...0720098691.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...0720098692.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...0520098598.jpg |

Smooth rig there dude. IL2 doesn't support X-Fire in any way, I asked OM this regarding SOW directly and no answer. My bet is SOW will not support X-fire either.

Arg, I hope this is not true! Why do all the crap games get all of the best tech support! I am sure one core of the 5970 will push SOW well at 4800x1200 but I would really like to have everything completely maxxxxxed, FUK ME

And I think he said that SLi and Xfire would be supported, as well as multicore CPU |
