After installing the patch 4.10.1 When selecting the Corsair MkI, and turning on markings for USN or USMC or USAAF on all of the new Solomons maps except Jan 44 the US marking applied to the aircraft is the early US national marking of the white star, blue background (circle) and red dot in the center.
This insignia was last used at Coral Sea in early May 1942 and was not present for the Battle of Midway. Is there a fix in the near future for this? This also occured when I tested the same maps with the Corsair MkII and Corsair MkIV. Best I can tell no other aircraft are affected this way except those I mentioned here.
