Better armament, doesn't mean a better plane. The Yak-3 was much lighter due to just have twin MGs and a single cannon. While the P-63 Kingcobra, had four MGs and a nose cannon which weighed it down significantly.
My Yak-3 could take care of the Kingcobra anyday.
