Well, it works for me on Win7 64-bit SP1, Core 2 Duo E8400, 4 gigs of RAM and Radeon 6850. What's your video card?
Also check DEP settings as described here (Steam version of the game uses Steam DRM instead of one used in Battlefront version though).
