but the reward is great, from the cargo bays you will get for about 5millions credits stuff (that you can keep or resell) and from the destroyed escort you will get very good weaponery.
usually i do that before getting in the precursor system to have a fulll missile squad equipped with "nova" to easily destroy the alien frigate.
and each faction have his warehouse so u can keep peace with triades
in xt 20 near xt-45 you ca restore your reputation (i mean change your id).

I think you can milk this, (my bro did but told me about it - I think this is waht he was talking about)....
I am not sure if this is it but he said there was this dead ship and he shot it just once and it would spawn alians and then he would defete them and shot it again just once and they would respawn He had two of the best shields on (3000+3000=6000+ sheild) and milked this for about 4 hours got over 100 alain weapons and 400+ exp per person.
